Our Story
What began in 1993 as a knife business run out of East Northport, New York has grown into a three-generation family brand — father to son to grandson — each generation expanding the catalog, the customer base, and the reach of the brand.
We built our reputation over three decades by standing behind our product. By sourcing from our own dedicated manufacturing facility, where we control the spec, not just the order. By listening to hunters who've carried our blades through a lifetime of seasons, chefs who've put our Damascus kitchen knives through daily professional use, and collectors who've come to recognize the Louis Martin name as a reliable mark of quality.
How We Work
Louis Martin Custom Knives sources its products from a dedicated facility we operate ourselves — giving us direct control over blade profiles, steel grades, handle materials, grind geometry, and finish quality. Every pattern in our catalog is specified to our standards. Every shipment is inspected before it reaches a customer.
We sell through multiple channels — our own website, eBay, Amazon, Shopify, Facebook, Instagram, Whatnot, and direct wholesale. Our fulfillment operation runs out of East Northport, NY, where the business has been based since day one.
